Radio "Orpheus" is holding a celebration for the anniversary of Mikhail Pletnev

Of 11 to 17 April 2012 Radio "Orpheus" a major festival, dedicated to the 55th Anniversary of the outstanding musician Mikhail Pletnev. Every evening at 20.00 clock in the "Concert Hall" - performed symphony, choral, opera, piano music by Mikhail Pletnev and the Russian National Orchestra. In addition, the Festival for the first time on the radio feature a couple of unique records: klavirabend Mikhail Pletnev 1986 from the fund company "Melody" (the next edition of "Music of Orpheus", April 15, by 20 clock - Piano Works by Schumann and Grieg), Tchaikovsky's opera "Eugene Onegin" by Maestro Pletnev (a special edition of "Today in the opera", April 13, at 19 clock - the recording of the III Shalyapin Festival in Kazan in February 2012); unknown masterpieces of Russian music 20th Century - the spiritual oratory Nikolai Tcherepnin "Walking Virgin of Sorrows," spiritual choirs Nikolai Golovanov and a suite from his opera "Princess Jurata" of the Russian National Orchestra and the Moscow Synodal Choir (artistic director - Alex Puzakov) conducted Conductor - Mikhail Pletnev ( April 12 to 20 hours - a record of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory on 9 April 2012).
